Being under or over insured
No one likes having to spend their money on car insurance yet you are, of course, legally required to insure your vehicle for at least third party liability, and most drivers consider it wise as a minimum to insure against accidental damage and theft as well.
There are a huge number of additional Car insurance benefits available, however.
At Your Cover, our flexible approach enables you to build your Car insurance policy exactly the way you’d like it. This means you can add in, or leave out, insurance options, and vary the levels of cover that you set, so you end up with a policy that matches your vehicle, the people who’ll be driving it, and the way you plan to use it. Importantly, it means you won’t be paying for cover you don’t actually need.
| Why it’s important to avoid under or over insuring |
To keep down costs, while it may be tempting to purchase little more than the minimum cover legally required, it can prove costly in the long run. In the event of a claim, if your policy shows that you are not covered for the risk you are claiming against, your claim will not be paid. The implications for this can be very costly indeed. It is also important that you do not over insure, by paying to cover risks that do not apply to you. This is where Your Cover’s flexible approach to personalising car insurance makes it easy to save money by including those elements of cover you need (at the right level for you), while excluding those you don’t need. |
