Allianz launches Your Cover car insurance

Allianz Insurance has launched a new online-only comprehensive car insurance product which provides customers with the flexibility to build their own policy.

Your Cover insurance (www.yourcoverinsurance.co.uk) has been developed following research, which found that 87 per cent of the UK motoring public wanted more control over their car insurance policy and to be able to choose the level of cover to help keep costs down.

With Your Cover insurance, customers can opt for a basic level of comprehensive car insurance cover and build a bespoke policy by adding up to 14 optional insurance covers such as Breakdown, Legal Assistance and Foreign Travel. Customers can also select the level of excess that is right for them.

Reflecting consumer feedback, Allianz is providing Your Cover insurance customers with:

• a named claims handler at a UK-based call centre
  
• a no admin charge promise for policy changes made during the term of the policy - most major providers make a charge of anything up to £35 for a change to the policy and up to £110 or one month’s premium to cancel.

Your Cover insurance is available now at www.yourcoverinsurance.co.uk and will feature on price comparison sites in the future.
